WoW Gold Making Tips – Profession Guide Tactics

October 18, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

wow gold making tips professions strategiesOne of the fastest ways to multiply how much WoW gold you make is to “profession” your items.  Basically this means to put items through certain professions to make them worth more gold.  It’s always a good idea to set up some profession guide tactics when you decide which professions you’ll keep for end game play.  Profession guide tactics are important for anyone setting up a WoW gold strategy.

Profession Guide Tactics: Enchanting

One of the simplest professions to do this with is enchanting.  If you disenchant every magical item you pick up and don’t need, you’ll create various enchanting materials.  The enchanting materials are always worth more than the junk you get them from, so you’ll make a lot of gold in the process.

Another way to use professions to make WoW gold is to enchant valuable items you pick up.  If you’re planning on listing an item on the auction house anyway, enchant it before you list it, and that item will be worth even more.

Profession Guide Tactics: Crafting Professions

There are some items in all crafting professions which are always in high demand.  Some players are too lazy to level professions, but you can profit off that!  Keep an eye on the auction house and watch which items from your profession bring the most gold.  The trick in these profession guide tactics is to keep a few on the auction house at all times, but not to flood the market with them.  It’s a simple case of supply and demand.  If there isn’t enough of an item available, players will pay more for that item.

Profession Guide Tactics: The Complete Guide

There are so many other ways you can use your professions to make WoW gold.  For a complete WoW gold strategy and for tons of WoW gold making tips, check out Zuggy’s Gold Mastery Guide.

1-450 Fishing Leveling Guide

September 16, 2009 by · Leave a Comment

1-450 fishing leveling guideLeveling fishing is one of the simplest things to do on World of Warcraft.  All you need is any pool of water in the game, and leveling fishing is as simple as having a fishing pole.  I suggest you start leveling fishing in any of the capital cities that have bodies of water.  This is because all bodies of water have a minimum “no junk” fishing level.  This means in order to get progress in leveling fishing in a given body of water, you have to be at least a certain level of fishing in order to not catch any junk.  A guide to the “no-junk” fishing levels is included further down in this fishing leveling guide.

Here’s my quick 1-450 fishing leveling guide to take you there in no time.

Fishing Leveling Guide: Levels 1-50

  • Visit the fishing trainer to learn Apprentice fishing.
  • You get one level for every fish you land, so just equip your fishing pole, stand near a body of water, and start fishing.  Right click your bobber when you see a splash to reel your fish in.
  • When you reach fishing level 50, go back to the trainer and learn Journeyman Fishing.

Fishing Leveling Guide: Levels 50-125

  • Go back to fishing.  Once again, you get one level for every fish you land.
  • When you reach fishing level 125, go back to the trainer and learn Expert Fishing.

  • Go back to fishing.
  • When you reach fishing level 200, go back to the fishing trainer and learn Artisan Fishing.

Fishing Leveling Guide: Levels 200-300

  • When you reach fishing level 300, go back to the fishing trainer (Go to the Outlands or Northrend for a higher level fishing trainer if you need to) and learn Master Fishing.

Fishing Leveling Guide: Levels 300-350

  • Go back to fishing.
  • When you reach fishing level 350, go back to the fishing trainer and learn Grand Master Fishing.

Fishing Leveling Guide: Levels 350-450
