One of the fastest ways to multiply how much WoW gold you make is to “profession” your items.  Basically this means to put items through certain professions to make them worth more gold.  It’s always a good idea to set up some profession guide tactics when you decide which professions you’ll keep for end game play.  Profession guide tactics are important for anyone setting up a WoW gold strategy.

Profession Guide Tactics: Enchanting

One of the simplest professions to do this with is enchanting.  If you disenchant every magical item you pick up and don’t need, you’ll create various enchanting materials.  The enchanting materials are always worth more than the junk you get them from, so you’ll make a lot of gold in the process.

Another way to use professions to make WoW gold is to enchant valuable items you pick up.  If you’re planning on listing an item on the auction house anyway, enchant it before you list it, and that item will be worth even more.

Profession Guide Tactics: Crafting Professions

There are some items in all crafting professions which are always in high demand.  Some players are too lazy to level professions, but you can profit off that!  Keep an eye on the auction house and watch which items from your profession bring the most gold.  The trick in these profession guide tactics is to keep a few on the auction house at all times, but not to flood the market with them.  It’s a simple case of supply and demand.  If there isn’t enough of an item available, players will pay more for that item.

WoW Gold Making Tips – Limited and Rare Items Tactics

One of the most untapped resources for making WoW gold is the limited supply items.  These are items available at vendors, but there’s only a limited supply of them.  This is one of my favorite WoW gold making tips.  Setting up a limited and rare item tactic is simple when you know how to spot a rare item.  All you need to do is look at every item available in the vendors wherever you are.  The limited and rare items are the ones which have a number listed next to them.  Usually that number is a small one, and after you buy all the available items, it disappears from the vendor’s list.

The next step in your limited and rare item tactic is to list all those items on the auction house.  You should have no problem selling these limited and rare items because there’s always a demand for them.   Since other players keep buying them up at the vendors, the price naturally gets marked up at the auction house.  Most players are too lazy to check the vendors for these limited and rare items anyway, because they are usually sold out.

You could just remember to buy up all the limited and rare items any time you visit a vendor, but there are plenty of special vendors in places you wouldn’t expect.  You’ve got to know where to look to find these vendors, so with a complete limited and rare item tactic which includes these relatively unknown vendors, you’ll find yourself making even more WoW gold.

WoW Gold Farming Tips #6 – Jewelcrafting, Prospecting, and Auction House

This week’s wow gold farming tip is a continuation of last weeks video tip, in which we discussed just how effective mining can be to dramatically increase your gold. For this week’s tip we’re talking about jewelcrafting. Specifically how we are going to use jewelcrafting, prospecting, the auction house and fundamental principles of economics to get your the gold really flowing.

One of the largest areas where I think a lot of player’s really miss the boat on gold farming revolves around professions. Most are under the false impression that only gathering professions can really make gold, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Not only can you make profits from your professions, it can be your MOST profitable daily activity. The one reason I really love my professions is simply because it’s so simple and quick. When you use professions to make gold you rarely have to leave your capital city, you can quickly produce the products you want to sell and immediately start making gold.
