Enchanting 1-375 Leveling Guide

Enchanting is another one of those just perfect professions that can literally be used by every class. There are loads of great benefits to having the profession. You can disenchant your own items for profit or enchanting materials, you get the ability to enchant your rings (only enchanters get this!), and you can sell your services to an eagerly awaiting server population.

One of the biggest misconceptions about enchanting is that it costs so much gold to level. The great thing about enchanting is you can easily level it without dramatically impacting your income while you level your characters.

If you are already at 70 then you probably are better off just trying to buy your materials and level it. I mean, let’s face it, you don’t want to be running around the Barrens farming green items.

Below is a list of all the materials you’ll need to level the profession from 1 to 375. Keep in mind that this list is somewhat of an estimation. Depending on if you get all the possible skill ups where you could will determine if you need a few more enchanting materials.

Now you can either go out and buy all your materials or simply get them as you level up. If you are leveling enchanting as you level your character you’ll be able to get lots of easy skill ups early.

Though I didn’t list them in the guide below you can dramatically reduce of the amount of enchant bracer - minor health enchants you have to do by simply disenchanting low level items for skill ups.

Unfortunately after about 75 skill level you cannot gain any more skill ups from disenchanting items. In addition, if you are already at level 70 you might just want to buy some cheap green items and disenchant them for skill ups early, especially since you’ll need the dusts anyway.

Almost forgot to mention, it’s a great idea to try and sell your enchants as you are leveling up. Granted the lower skill level enchants are going to be difficult to sell, but as you start gaining some skill players are more than happy to buy enchants.

You won’t make a ton of gold until you break 300, but you can still help to lessen some of your expenses. One final note, as with any profession the last few points are going to be insanely expensive. It’s a VERY good idea to simply advertise your enchants.

There are always people needing enchants in trade chat, so if you can just have them bring your materials and do their enchants it’ll save you a ton of gold. They get enchants, you get a skill up, and you probably also get a sizable tip. It’s a win win situation for everyone.
