Enchanting is a fantastic profession for everyone class. All class types can benefit from leveling enchanting. Enchanting does not require any other profession to adequately use it (you’ll be deriving your materials from items you destroy, aka disenchant). That said, I find it helpful to use a gathering profession along with enchanting as it helps to offset some of the gold you’ll be spending to level it.
