Hiren is fantastic...but even being fantastic and playing a 'perfect game' can't ensure a victory (See his fight vs. Unique)

Minaegi wrecked him, though, IIRC.

Guy might be an ass, but he really IS an absolutely fantastic mage. He once said something along the lines of "I have little doubt that I am the best mage in the world" and people were just outraged -myself included- at his arrogance, but truly, the player is nothing short of stupendous, the pressure he puts out is amazing, he is always on the offensive.

I wasn't expecting a win against Unique if anything I was expecting a loss(this is my first time seeing Hiren in action). He really knew how to abuse those imp. gouges though and he was very patient throughout the match. The fact that he almost burned down a Restokin is enough to demand respect(I still can't pull it off)

With his skill and sense, he would have been able to pull it off if he was using glaives. Shame to see him held back by gear (most of the other rogues in that tourney were rockin' glaives.)

Oh god letting 3.0 talents was just a mistake...this disgusts me how dominant the arcane mages are. In those RMP teams they don't even need the other two teammates anymore, just send in your mage with huge yellow numbers. Please revert to 2.4 to show skill...

It all depends on who gets to whom first. If a good arcane mage can get a rogue out of stealth, its bad news for the rogue, if the rogue gets to the mage first, its likely bad news for the mage.

You need to take a look at Minaegi and Dker...Dker stood no chance against Minaegi with his water and sheer damage output. He pops cloak and vanish within 4-5 sec of his opener and barely touching Minaegi's health. He bandages twice and gets back into the frey, he pops cloak early on again and takes him head on. He's down to 2k in 5 sec or less, pops BM and still dies. Also in the 3v3 matches Minaegi almost takes out their druid healer, he's only aided by his teammate 1-2 seconds before the kill. Also notice in Team Clazzi's 1v1's, Hiren their 1v1 star is no longer sent out due to the power of Clazzi's arcane spec. Keeping the tournament like this I can almost predict the RMP groups will dominate the last 2 or 3 rounds.
