Annnnnnnnnd once again I slither back here for more advice from the best of the best.

I'm curious about a few things.

I know that this is probably a better place for a rogue to come for advice, but I've gotten advice for a priest here and I can't really find anything else anywhere else for a priest. -.-;

Once again, Season 5 is coming out soon, and I'm curious to know if like before, priests are to have a certain hit cap for the reduction of people resisting psychic screams. Now, before the patch, and the expansion, the cap was 38. Then again, the hit rating for shadow priests at that time were 74.

I've looked up the new shadow priest cap for WOTLK, and it's 290. -- Does this mean that Disc. priests need to get a **** ton of hit for people not to resist their psychic screams?

I'm thinking that the Ret Pally / DeathKnight is going to be the "matchmade" DPS team, 2v2. As a rogue/priest combo, assuming that's what you are, how would counter those two? I would assume based off watching Deathknights pve-wise, they have a lot of things that come from under them, and in that respect, always keeping them on the movie and being dispel happy is a plus, however, you have the paladin, off healing and critting a helluva lot. -.- (DAMN THEM!) So..how do you counter that type of a combo?

Or, you get the favorite: ret pally/druid, deathknight/druid, etc.

If anyone has any priest friends, if anyone knows ANYTHING regarding this stuff, could you PLEASE send me in that direction!!

Well at level 80 I would assumed Ret Pallies are WAY more balanced that at 70. I don't know first hand, but that's a simple assumption. As for DK's I find them to be quite the force to be reckoned with. I will probably cry harder when S5 starts and they start dominating me and my mage friend. Also, we've been trying to think of a new 2v2 name. If you have any suggestions feel free to put them here.
We're personally stuck between:
The Ethnic Jons(will explain that name in greater detail if you're curious as to how it came about.)
Did you do a barrelroll?(will probably have to remove a space)
Should have Barrel Rolled(will probably have to remove a space)
Weekend Warriors

Spell hit is not 290 rating for PvP. As far as I know PvP hit cap is still 3%. PvE hit cap is 446 hit rating.

Regarding S5...I've said it once and I'll say it again, there's no point in guessing or theorycrafting about what comp is going to be overpowered or underpowered. There are so many changes to pvp, arena, and class balance there's no way to really know what comps will be strong.

But, if it's still 3% then I'm somewhat happy about the situation. Hit was hard as hell to come by as a Disc. priest anyways. >.>;
