ZugGaming has the bes
t Warrior talent builds for you. All of Warriors talent specs are used in end game raiding and pvp. Although most warrior talent builds are pretty basic, make sure to check the spec for your weapon.
Warrior PvP Talent Builds
Unfortunately for Warriors, they are limited to specing arms for pvp. Except for season 5, arms is the most viable spec for warriors
in arena. The biggest difference in warrior talent builds is the difference in weapon spec.
- Arms PvP 54/14/0 - Basic arms pvp with mace spec
- Arms PvP 57/11/0 – Arms pvp with improved hamstring
Warrior PvE Talent Builds
In pve Warriors can spec for
dps or tanking. Most raid groups will consist of one prot spec warrior and one dps spec warrior. Arms dps is usually lower then fury, but has talents to improve bleed effects which is beneficial to the raids.
- Arms PvE 55/16/0 -Raid dps spec with buffs for bleed effects
- Fury PvE 18/53/0 -Highest raid dps spec
- Prot Tanking 15/3/51 -Standard raid boss prot tanking spec
- Prot Tanking 16/4/51 – High threat tanking pve spec
Warrior Leveling Talent Builds
Warriors are a great class to level because you can play all specs and learn your class. Both prot and arm talents specs are great for aoe leveling. Fury has the least down time because bloodthirst heals back most of the damage taken. All warrior leveling specs are great for instance leveling also.
- Fury Leveling 15/56/0 – Highest damage output leveling build
- Prot Leveling 15/5/51 – Basic instance tanking and aoe leveling build
- Arms Leveling 54/17/0 – Aoe leveling dps build

ZugGaming has all the
Priest talent builds you need. Fortunately, priest utilize all their specs in end game wow so whatever your preference is you can spec it! Priest is a class where their talents are more precise for the class, so most Priest talent builds have very little differences for each bracket.
Priest PvP Talent Builds
Priest are a very strong class in pvp and can play two different specs. Disc spec priest dominate 3v3 bracket with the famous MPR comp while shadow priest are good in 2s and 5s. All priest specs are good because they have a lot of controlled burst and great healing output.
- Disc PvP 60/11/0 – Disc pvp spec with reflective shield
- Disc PvP 60/11/0 – This spec is a variation of the first, better for 3v3 and 5v5
- Shadow PvP 17/0/54 – Shadow priest pvp spec
Priest PvE Talent Builds
For raiding, most priest spec holy for healing. Priest can raid as any talent spec though, because disc provides great main tank healing. Shadow spec priests are great for raid with one of the highest output of any classes on aoe packs and still maintain high damage on single target mobs.
- Holy PvE 14/57/0 – Holy pve, strong for raid aoe healing
- Disc PvE 57/14/0 - Disc spec designed for tank healing and shields on raid
- Shadow PvE 14/0/57 -Shadow pve spec
Priest Leveling Talent Builds
Most priest spec shadow for leveling. Shadow has high damage output with replenishment buy cialis online and talents to increase mana regen after killing mobs. Fortunately for priest who like to instance level, most talent builds
also give you enough dps to solo outside of instances.
- Shadow leveling 14/0/57 – Basic shadow leveling spec
- Hybrid levling 32/28/11 - Hybrid leveling spec great for instances with dual roles

Here a
t ZugGaming we have a great set Death Knight talent builds for you to check out. Death Knights are a very diverse class right now and all three specs are useful. Death Knights have a lot strong talents in each spec so these are a general outline of the Death Knight talent builds, feel free to adjust certain talents to your playstyle.
Death Knight PvP Builds
Death Knights are very powerful class in arena and can play in almost any arena team. For arena, there is really two
main Death Knight talent builds. A lot of variety comes from these talent builds but these are the the basic building blocks for Death Knights in arena. A lot of the variety in the different specs are from personal play style and arena team makeup, but these builds can get you started in the right direction.
- Frost PvP 14/54/3 – Crowd control DK PvP build
- Unholy PvP 0/17/54 – High damage output with controlled burst
Death Knight PvE Builds
Death Knights have two main roles they can spec for in PvE. A Death Knight tank is very strong with lots of cooldowns to rotate and Death Knights can also spec into blood and put out some nice dps. Most Raids are filled with at least one Death Knight who is tank spec and some even use Death Knights for both tanks.
- Blood Dps 51/0/20- Blood dps spec, scales well with gear
- Unholy Dps 12/0/59 – Unholy dps spec, is better before Ulduar gear
- Frost Tanking 13/51/7 – Frost raid tanking spec
- Blood Tanking 55/8/8 – Blood self healing tank spec, better for 5 man dungeons
Death Knight Leveling Builds
For leveling Death Knights really don’t have a talent build outside of blood that is good. Blood spec leveling allows for a lot of dps while being able to heal yourself leaving very little down time and letting you solo elite quests. Don’t worry about pvp, any spec Death Knight can hold his ground while leveling with a lot of cooldowns to use to keep yourself alive. If you prefer to instance level feel free to use the blood Death Knight talent build for tanking instances.
- Blood Leveling 54/0/17 – Blood leveling build
- Blood Leveling 61/0/10 – Blood leveling build with more survivability
Resto Shaman Arena Strategy Guide

Restoration Shaman Arena Specs:
- <a tit
le=”53 Resto 18 Enhancement” href=”http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#hZ0gghoZVcfushstkbIRt”>Resto/Enhancement
This spec is the most popular spec for Resto Shaman right now. It provides a lot of healing output and is a pretty solid spec that will work for every team set up.
This is the spec I use on my shaman when I play with tanking class like DK’s. It’s good for playing against teams where you are getting focused the majority of the games. It has less healing output but more survivability, it is a good spec for 5s where you can drop in a global.
Restoration Shaman Glyphs:
Glyph of Stoneclaw Totem- This is one of the new glyphs put out last patch, it is probably the best for any specs of shaman in PvP.
Glyph of Lesser Healing Wave- With so many talents to improve Earth Shield it will usually be up on the target they are killing, this helps for healing through the burst.
Glyph of Earth Shield- Having this glyph along with all the other improved Earth Shield talents will really make Earth Shield amazing.
Restoration Shaman Gear:
MP5 vs Crit- This is one of the biggest debates and it basically comes down to playstyle. From tests, the difference is that MP5 gear will end up being more mana and the crit gear will be more healing per second. Depending on what comps you play generally the increased healing output will be more effective in arena. From my experience, the MP5 is more beneficial in 2s but the crit helps out a lot in 3s and 5s. Again, it’s all personal preference but my gear is currently set up for all crit.
2 piece 3 piece- Depending on what comp setup you run you usually wont need this. Although 1.5 second less cooldown on grounding is rarely life saving, the reduced cooldown is probably better this season with the resiliance buff on gear. Unless you are planning on playing a double healer comp or something you are expecting to get focused almost every game, getting 5 piece of one set is definatly better this season.
Shaman Macros:
Focus Shocks -
#showtooltip Wind Shock
/cast [target=focus] Wind Shock
This is the only macro I use on my shaman. You can also use a Nature’s Swiftness macro (below) but they don’t always work perfectly. Focus shocking allows you to interrupt a healer or prevent CC’s without changing target from healing or DPSing.
Nature’s Swiftness Healing Wave (with Tidal Force)-
/cast Tidal Force
/stopcasting
/cast Nature’s Swiftness
/stopcasting
/cast Healing Wave
Simple macro, just uses all your cooldowns with healing wave.
Shaman Arena Strategy
2v2 (healer/dps)- This bracket requires a lot of work from a Shaman. At the start of the game, set your focus shock on a healer or someone that will try to CC a lot. At the start, try to get purges on the kill target and coordinate your Hex to try to force a trinket early on and make them blow defensive cooldowns. After they have blown enough cooldowns, work with your partner and coordinate heroism with a Hex or any other CC. At this point, cast a Lava Burst or get some offensive purges in to try to get a kill attempt. If this fails, they will usually have no defensive cooldowns for the next hex and since shamans don’t have a lot of long
cooldowns its pretty easy to set up another kill attempt. During kill attempts, make sure to save Shock cooldown for interrupts on a heal or more importantly for a CC on your partner. Between bursts or during periods of down time always try to get drinks in. I usually use about 5-10 water each game just to make sure I never go oom. If you are ever in combat but aren’t healing spam water shield for the 100 mana each time it’s cast.
2v2 (double dps)- This set up is a lot harder for shaman because they are vulnerable to CC. Open with a Heroism and stay out of line of sight to avoid CC’s. Coordinate with your partner when they are using their cooldowns so that you don’t overlap trinket with something like shield wall or deterence. Other then that, fake cast when counterspell is off cooldown and they usually use it the first heal.
3v3- A lot of shaman misplay this bracket cialis online and I feel that people think the shaman class is weak because of it. In 3v3 your priority is to heal. Stay back, play defensive during the games and don’t even worry about going to shock the heals because usually it will put you in a bad position to get switched on. Stay back, interrupts CC’s and wait till your are going for a kill and have the other team playing defensive to play aggressively. If you get switched on, have your teammates control the other team and land as much CC on them as they can until you can get back behind a pillar and out of line of sight. Usually using heroism early works better because it allows you to play offensive earlier. Most Shaman 3v3 teams are burst comps anyway so heroism can usually kill something.
5v5- This bracket is the most populated by Shaman because Heroism is the most powerful buff in the game for 5v5. In this bracket you are there for your heals and heroism. Running in and shocking will usually result in you getting switched to and dieing in under 5 seconds. Stay back, heal and dispel fears with tremor (better then shocking because it starts DR in case you get feared and can’t tremor). Keep Earth Shield on the target they are focusing and stay back far enough you won’t get CC’d.
3v3 Cleave Teams
May 5, 2009 by Hodzy · 4 Comments
3v3 Arena Tactics
This season has been dominated by double melee so far. With blizzard adding a few changes to class synergy from priest/rogue, the question shifts to 3v3 and what will blizzard do about the almost casterless bracket. After playing 3v3 games this week every comp we went against besides 2 rmp games were double melee. This set up seems to dominate this season with hunter nerfs and mobility increases to almost all melee classes.
Ret Paladins 3v3 Strategy
Ret paladins are a huge hit this season for a couple reasons. They have utility, controlled burst, and survivability. This season Ret Paladins have massive amounts of utility. Freedom out of
stun, Hand of Protection, Hand of Sacrafice and defensive dispels make Ret Paladins one of the best classes for 3v3. Most teams are running melee cleave trains or heavy CC teams that Ret Paladins easily
counter both. Playing as a Resto Shaman against RMP, we use our freedom for the first kidney shot and save the Hand of Protection for bad fears or anytime a heavy burst is coming. Ret Paladins can cleanse every CC the RMP has except blind which shares the same CD as pvp trinket. Since Ret Paladins have all their burst on a timer, defensive dispels easily keep me out of CCs and not decimate their damage. Crusader Strike, Judgements and Divine Storm all are on cooldowns so its easy to control the burst during a stun or healer CC.
Best of Season 6
April 26, 2009 by Hodzy · 2 Comments
As always, with a new arena season comes new “cookie cutter” comps. This season, almost underway for a week has already seen the power of priests buffs and other class nerfs. Rogues are doing amazingly well, considering almost all other classes got
nerfed and they got a few minor buffs it puts them as one of the top classes this season.
Hunters and Warlocks make this section of the post. Warlocks didn’t get completely nerfed since destruction does a lot of damage and has survivability. Warlocks can no longer kill someone in a fear, have undispellable dots, and continually do damage out of line of site. You will still see some unstable affliction locks, but the population in top 100 will definitely decline. Hunters also took some heavy nerfs to survival. Playing with a hunter, they will be forced to wear raid gear to get their damage high enough to get a kill in. I expect both these classes to get some kind of mid season buffs.
2v2 Arena Tactics:
Priest / Rogue- This is the new paladin/dk comp. 44% of the top arena teams (sk-gaming.com 4/25) are running this comp. This comp did well last season if the rogue could wear full raid gear to burn
down a dk. Now, with all other classes nerfed and priests get huge survival/mana efficiency buffs this comp will probably be the majority of the 2v2 bracket until a future content patch.
Druid / Warrior- Warriors got huge buffs this season to arms including some nasty overpower changes that dominate healers. This team won’t be at its glory days of Burning Crusade arena but it will definitely be more popular this season in the higher ratings.
3v3
Arena Tactics:
Paladin / Warrior / Death Knight- I’m not sure how well this comp will do later on in the season, but with everyone running melee cleave teams this one is pretty good. I have seen a lot of these teams at high ratings, if the paladin can coordinate his CC along with a warriors fear this team can be pretty deadly.
Mage / Priest / Rogue- Ever since season two this team has been a dominate comp. This season with almost all other classes nerfed and priest are buffed, they will definatly dominate. On sk-gaming this comp already takes #1 in popularity for 3v3 bracket. The team has heavy CC and turns the game into a 3v2, combined with amazing controlled burst from both the rogue and the mage makes this a very strong comp.
Season 6 Preview

Worried about the new system? Don’t worry, in case you haven’t stepped into arena yet you win 47 p
oints and lose 0. It seems you will continue this trend past 1k and won’t win less till around 1500 or so. To be exact at 1079 you win 45 points. It may take a couple extra games but don’t
sweat it, you will get there after a while. Remember the goal of the hidden rating is to go 50-50 whatever your team rating is. Also, you get to see your matchmaking rating now in the arena window, so make sure to check that out.
Healers:
Killing healers in a global has changed. With the increase in resilience and survivability buffs you can probably focus on getting healers oom before setting up a kill . Priest can penance themselves, Shamans have a 4400 shield usable while silences, Druids armor buffs in tree form.
Shamans get a 4400 shield from glyph of stoneclaw totem. Since totems are physical now you can use while silenced. Druids armory value in tree form was increased from 100% to 240% and barskin reduces chance spells will be dispelled by 60%
and reduce chance you will be melee crit by 25%. Priest can pain surpression themselves while stunned and penance is now usable on themselves.
Season 6 Tier 2 weapons:
Finally, what all the pvpers have been waiting for. Weapons that are equivalent to the pve ones. If you can’t get 2200, dont worry there are still tier 1 weapons available at 1850 rating. Season 5 was dominated by Turning Tides and Betrayer of Humanities, but you probably won’t see many pve weapons anymore. Also, the new pvp weapons come with gem slots.
