Classic WoW Zuggy Video!
Hey guys, while this certainly doesnt’ fall into line with my “usual” post, I managed to come across some really old video footage that I thought might get a few laughs. Both of these videos were shot in my first real raiding guild, Entropy of Smolderthorn. This was my raiding guild during the majority of classic WoW and I’m still playing with a good chunk of the same guys today. Both of these videos are fairly short (2 minutes each).
This first video is our guild’s first Ragnaros kill (keep an eye out at 1:00…there’s a shot of 1.0 Zuggy!) and the second video is from our first Onyxia kill. Enjoy!

Hey! 32 man raid kill! Sounds like our old preBC raids: Is it a farm night? then there are 50 people online wanting in… New boss fight? Damn, only 30 people online.
Actually, sounds a lot like BC raids as well… I hate people.
lol, I hear ya erk…we eventually had to go to “surprise” raids, which oddly enough we’re doing again. Tell people it’s tuesday farm night then call the audible and go to progressing content instead! =D
Yeah, thats what we adopted pretty hard core when I was GM for BC. We raided on Tues, Thurs, Sun, and if we had a full raid on Tuesday, it was new content night, otherwise it was farm night. Worked out alright except for the few people who were there every Tuesday raid but couldn’t ever make Thursday raids… They missed out on farm nights more than they deserved :(
Glad to be done with the whole raiding mess though. I’d like to see all of Ulduar and I’m sure I will, but I honestly don’t care about being among the first through it, or whether I see it in 10 man or 25 man, or if I ever get to see any of the hard modes.
the more I play this game the more I’m in the same boat as you, Erk…and honestly I don’t know that it’s a bad thing. Playing as a part of a hardcore raiding guild can be a blast…but there’s no question it can start to interfere with other activities that should be taking precedence.
In any regard, playing casual is certainly less stressful and in the end I have just as much fun playing.
Oh wow, vecna. That was wtflong ago. I think I still have footage of our STV arena, where I completely annihilate zuggy =D those were the good days for shadow priests! I NEED to find it!
lol…i’d like to see those. Not sure if you noticed or not but at the very end of the rag clip, that’s vecna going… “I love you all the gayest way possible”, good times. He’s playing a ret paladin now called, Brrian.
Yeah, of course, my caretaker decided to, recently, ninja clean most of the computer, including my precious screenshots & vidoes. Whyyyy?!
