Mana Tomb Stealth Farming
If you’re a rogue then you may already be aware of this, if not…sit down, because you’re going to be floored when you realize how much gold you could have been making for years! Stealth farming in the mana tombs is one of the quickest and easiest ways for a rogue to make some serious gold. You don’t need amazing gear, any particular talent spec or God-like skills, all you need is a level 70 rogue and 350+ lock picking.
Stealth farming mana tombs as a rogue really could not be any more simple.
- Walk in Mana Tombs on normal mode
- Kill the 2-3 mob packs guarding each of the 2 chests
- Loot the chest
- Walk out, reset theinstance, repeat.
Your server will ultimately determine the amount of gold you are able to make using this strategy, but in my experience the mana tomb farming runs have yielded as much as 500 gold per hour. Check out the video to see how it’s done.

I haven’t done this in months, but I made a ton of gold doing it back then. I think all prices are falling pretty fast as people try to dump their extra mats to get ready for the expansion, but some gold might still be out there to make. Just remember to keep your eyes open in the expansion for those mid 70 level instances that might be chest farmable once you hit 80.
A couple of points to add:
1: This is 10 times easier as combat. Sap one, blade flurry + evasion the other two down, then kill the last; you never have to vanish.
2: Enchanting helps. You will wind up with a lot of unsellable greens and blues. Disenchant them if you can, or have a willing friend do it for you.

yeah…in retro-spec I should have just waited to do that. I was up late last night studying then started this…bad idea. I’ll probably re-shoot the video and audio tomorrow after my exams.

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned this in the video. The chests spawn at various locations in the instance.

Keep in mind there’s a limit to how many times you can farm MT as well. I didn’t realize it at first, but you’re limited to 5 instances an hour so you can do farm this five times successfully in an hour. When I say successful I mean is when you die(WHICH YOU SHOULDN’T!!!) that counts as an attempt so don’t be stupid. Also an hour will give you plenty of time to hearth, put up stuff on the auction house, get an enchanting friend to help you out and clear your bags for the next 5 attempts. That’s hot stuff right there :D!
ay its me again, I didn’t mean make a hunter vid what I meant to say is if there is a tip a hunter can use that doest involve a main proffesion like I am a skinner and inscribtion and a stack of rugged leather goes for like 10g but the killing skinning process is SO boring only that netherweave tip helped but I pay my caused 1 dollar a hour to buy,craft netherweave =P so im asking for a tip ty

Tried this for 5 runs, doing 2 chests per run. Guess I just got unlucky and just got 1 green item per chest none of which were worth much at all. I guess what you said about enchanters holds true for me.
