Pirates’ Day Event

Yarr me mateys, it’s pirate day! I’m really not sure how I missed this one or even if it was announced at all. Even so, here’s the details on newest world event to world of warcraft, Pirates Day!

• Date: September 19th
• Location: Stranglethron Vale
• Things to do: Hang out with the pirates in booty bay, get a cool looking pirate custom (temporary buff), and watch the cannons and fireworks fly!

Kind of an odd “event”, besides getting into a pirate custom there is absolutly nothing to do with this event. There are no quests, no items, no special drops…nothing. There are pirates standing on the booty bay bank, fireworks, and costums.

Must have been some sort of intern project. However,a friend did point out that today is national “talk like a pirate day“. /fail
