WotLK Release Date Announced

Official Wrath of the Lich King Release Date *UPDATED*
Quite unexpectedly Blizzard gave us even more information today regarding the wrath of the lich king release date. Blizzard Entertainment CEO, Mike Morhaime announced in a conference call today that WotLK will be released between October to December of 2008. I’m sure we’ll get additional information regarding more specific dates as time wears on here.
In addition to formally (or at least as formal as we can get at this point) announcing the release date, Mike also had some choice words regarding blizzard’s major “competition”, Age of Conan.
Age of Conan released with some initial success. We did see some of our players leave, [but] about 40% of those players have returned to World of Warcraft.
[We have] a product that has been continually enhanced, expanded and refined for almost four years now.

There is NO date yet as to when WotLK will come out, Blizzard has NOT released any information to ANYONE, yet alone you.
Plus, Wrath will only contribute to the downward spirial W.O.W. has fallen into since BC. I forone am definantly selling my account once Wrath comes out, and not go to another game.. but because Wrath looks unbelievably stupid. The stats will eventually be so high, an average white hit will become 4k.

First off, at no point did I every mention a date in my article. If you had taken even 10 seconds to browse through the contents you would have seen that.
And yes, Blizzard has announced the game will be released in Q4 of 2008. Both a Vivendi press release and telephone interview with Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime have backed this date up.
Be more condescending would you Zack? I don’t see why that point about you selling your account was even necessary to be quite frank. This is a site to discuss World of Warcraft strategy, and just subjects about the game. If you don’t like the game then you’re in the wrong place. Lmao, Scythe, Plz tell me you r Scythemage. Well anyways, wotlk is gonna pretty sweet and i doubt that white dmg will get past 2.5k
