The sinister calling change certainly surprised me, but I think the main reason for the hemo nerf was simply to allow other talent specs to have some sort of chance to compete.

Last time I checked something like 70% of PvP rogues were hemo, figures like this are counter productive to blizzard’s ultimate goal of creating a diverse and multi-spec playing field.

The CD nerf was justified in my opinion because as you said yourself, it really doesn’t hurt PvP rogues. It basically just means you can’t use CD in a raid environment / in PvE gear in arena.

As far as combat maces for 2s…absolutely. I still think it’s the best spec for any rogue + healer 2s team.

Hey Zuggy,
I just wanted your take on the recent nerf to rogues. I understand that it will not affect PVP rogues all that much but why nerf rogues? It seems odd that Blizz just goes and nerfs hemo. Anyways I was also wondering if you think the combat maces rogue/disc priest 2v2 build is still a good one.
