Shaman Macro Guide
Every class is going to be using a fair amount of macros to lessened the button load on their bars, and shaman is certainly one that takes heavy advantage of this. Being a hybrid class there are a variety of different talent specs that will take advantage of only a selection of these macros. So for this guide I’ll be organizing the macros by the three primary shaman specs, enhancement, elemental, and restoration. In addition, I’ve listed some general shaman macros.

Useful Macros for Shamans
- One Button Totem Set
- Assist Purge
- Trinket + Lesser Healing Wave
- Mouse Over Cleanse Spirit
- Mouse Over Cure Disease
- Mouse Over Cure Poison
- One Button Mount / Ghost Wolf
- Start Attack + Storm Strike
- Use Trinket + Storm Strike
- Nature’s Swiftness then Healing Wave
- Earth Shield / Water Shield Modifier
- Battlegrounds Lesser Healing Wave Spamming

- The 1 Button “2345″ Macro
- Trinket + Lightening Bolt
- Shock Cycle Rotation
/castsequence reset=6 Searing Totem, Mana Spring Totem, Grounding Totem, Strength of Earth Totem
*simply change each totem to your desired totem
/assist PlayersName
/cast Purge
I usually set my assist to the warrior on my team, great way to purge the focus target without having to manually switch targets. Great way to cleanse targets for any melee, in PvP or PvE.

Just uses your top trinket immediately prior to your lesser healing wave.
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Cleanse Spirit
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Cure Disease
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Cure Poison
/cast [nomodifier:alt] Whistle of the Black War Raptor; Ghost Wolf
Change the modifier to either alt, shift, or control. Also, change “Whistle of the Black War Raptor” to the mount you are current riding.
Useful Enhancement Macros for Shamans

Basic macros, just starts your auto attack then stormstrikes.

“13″ is the top trinket slot, “14″ is the bottom.
Useful Restoration Macros for Shamans
Nature’s Swiftness then Healing Wave
/cast Nature’s Swiftness
/stopcasting
/cast Healing Wave
Earth Shield/ Water Shield Modifier
/cast [nomodifier:alt] Earth Shield; Water Shield
Case earth shield or water shield by using a variety of modifiers. The modifier could also be shift or control (also, you could change any of the shields to lightening).
Battlegrounds Lesser Healing Wave Spamming
/targetfriend [nodead]
/cast [nodead] Lesser Healing Wave
Targets a nearby player and casts the heal, great if you are having trouble targeting players like in Alterac Valley

Remember, “13″ is the top trinket slot. On a side note, the term “2345″ is meant to represent the series of buttons an elemental shaman normally presses to drop their bomb. 2 is the damage, 3 is elemental mastery, 4 is nature’s swiftness, and 5 is chain lightning. So if you were to press 2345 you’d simply roll your fingers across the keys, but now you have it all on one button!

When i use the totem macro it only plants one totem?:O
You have to click it the number of time equal to the number of totem
It just makee you have to press less button

Very helpfull still alot of goodies for cata.
still pondering about the shock sequel is it possible to make a standard rotations instead of it switchen from flame to earth to flame etc.
its very delicate for my ench shaman to use a rot for shocks like :
Flame shock Earth shock ( 2x ) and then reset.
How do u place that in a sequel?
You could just do one shock, but the reason for switching back and forth is to maximize damage.
